IOS which was earlier known as iPhone OS Apps are solely designed for Apple products. The IOS is developed for Apple devices such as the iPod, iPad and iPod by Apple inc. It was originally released back in 2007 for the iPhone & iPod. Later Apple started to use this to support other Apple devices such as the Apple TV and iPad. As of 12th Sept 2012 , the App Store was loaded with over 7,00,000 apps & over 40 billion downloads took place.
