Check weather if you have custom recovery installed in your device. This will not be removed / uninstalled, you will either re-install stock firmware or stock recovery. Anyways this will remove the entire root and only have the root installed. I.e; if you have got a rooted One X or a Droid Razr and have rooted without installing custom recovery, this method will completly uninstall your device and return it back to stock.

- If your device is installed with a SuperSU app. It's fine for you to skip this step. This app is available in the Play Store.
- ONce you are done with installing the SuperSU app, launch it and open settings & tap on "Full unroot".
You are now done & can now reboot your device. Later if you see the SuperUser app or the SuperSU app in the drawer, you can uninstall it.
