For the first time ever MGU fest got organised inside a single campus. And also was plastic free. With highest umber of volunteers. The 2016 fest was hosted at Al Azhar Campus, Perumpellichira. Iduki district won the right to host the event for the first time and over 2500 participants showed up for the event.
