State museum & zoo or Trissur zoo is 13.5-acre park wa opned back in 1885. The park is located in the heart of the Trissur city and is also one of the most oldest zoo is the country. The zoo is home to a wide range of animals, reptiles & birds. The park offers a great oppurtunity for researchers and students. The museum which due to security reasons is not shown in the video below has a wide range of historical monuments that were once used by the ruling family and its people. Also the museum holds skeletons of mammals along with a detailed explanation. Their is also a 3D theater within the zoo itself for the visitors.
