Thommankuthu is a great waterfall located in the Idukki district of Kerala, India. The park is named after a great hunter Thomachan Kuruvinakunnel. The beauty of this waterfall was made to know to the outside world by this great hunter in the 1920's. This a great and one of the unique eco-tourism centers in India. The park also connects itself with the dense jungle hence trekking is also allowed with guide. To promote the awareness of protecting the nature, the park also has an exhibition centre located inside along with different varieties of plants most of which are medical plants.
